Ann Griffin, DNP, PMHNP-BC
Ann Griffin, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a highly qualified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner providing insightful and compassionate services at Steller’s Integrative Psychiatry in Seattle, Washington. Ann has extensive experience in psychiatric evaluations, consultations, and medication management in Community Health, Primary Care, and Private Practice settings that help her deliver outstanding care to her patients.

Ann earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, graduating in 1995. She returned to complete her master’s degree in nursing in 2017 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner qualification in 2020. Ann has also undertaken additional training in areas such as suicide prevention, mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), and Palouse mindfulness.

Ann is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and has wide-ranging interests within the mental health field. She completed her doctoral project on adult ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) evaluation services and served as a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) for medically fragile dependent juveniles in the King County Superior Court Juvenile Dependency Seattle and Kent jurisdictions.

Ann looks forward to welcoming people from the greater Seattle region and surrounding areas to Steller’s Integrative Psychiatry, in partnership with Mindful Therapy Group. Experienced in treating mental health conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Cate Ryan, LMHCA
Cate Ryan, LMHCA, is an experienced counselor providing exceptional care for people at Steller’s Integrative Psychiatry in Issaquah, Washington. Cate passionately believes that healing is 100% possible.
Cate can assist with a wide range of mental health issues ranging from needing help adjusting to new situations to managing suicidal thoughts and actions. Cate understands that patients need time, energy, and a commitment to themselves to overcome their problems. She ensures that everyone in her care achieves their goals, and she takes pride in restoring hope and vitality back into their everyday lives.
Cate is a United States Air Force veteran, where she worked as a licensed practical nurse. She completed an undergraduate degree and her MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Antioch University. Cate received her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California.
Cate has worked in the helping professions for more than 20 years, including roles as a pediatric nurse in the US Air Force, a professional sports massage therapist for the NFL/NHL/US Women’s Tennis Teams, and a manager for the local mental health crisis hotline, and community mental health clinics serving people who suffer from severe mental health issues.
Cate brings her life experiences, insight, education, and knowledge to every counseling session at Steller’s Integrative Psychiatry.
